You probably know the feeling when you came home after an exhausting day with the expectation of a warm dinner and a short relaxing bicycle ride. And at that moment the wife comes in with the dreaded sentence: “We're going to decorate our flat!” After cooling down, you have to admit that it really is necessary. And at that moment you “clear out spiders’ webs from the innermost corners” and throw out things which haven’t been used in several months, too.
We at AVS had similar thoughts. Are our current workingprocedures still sufficiently up to date? Isthere a need to improve something, to get rid of something or to make something more transparent? Yes, from a global point of viewour current procedures are working and sufficient, but when we looked more closely, we foundsmall items that could frankly be described as a bit “obsolete”.
That's also one of the reasons why we started the process of QMS certification in accordance with ISO 9001 in April 2013. In practice, that means recording already maintained procedures with the presumption of an opportunity to improve the final check, making our steps more transparent and finally, achieving a higher level of service. The preparation will be done in cooperation with DSCONSULT GROUP s.r.o.. The final certification will be carried out by TÜV SÜD Czech.
The expected date of final certification is the end of July 2013.
