As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our calculation processes, we decided to compare the advantages of various software solutions for structural analysis, specifically for stress analysis in beam structures. Until now, we have primarily used SCIA ENGINEER, which has largely met our accuracy requirements. However, we were also interested in data input methods, model import and export, and the presentation of results.

At the beginning of 2024, we approached Dlubal to request a trial version of their RSTAB software. After six months of testing and practical evaluation, we decided to invest in an RSTAB 9 license. This has expanded our analytical capabilities and provided us with an efficient tool for parallel preliminary verification of initial steel structure designs.

It is still too early for a detailed comparison and review of the different solutions, but we are already seeing clear benefits from this investment and the expansion of our software portfolio.
