AVS design s.r.o. is Czech engineering company focusing on industrial technology, piping and ducting systems and steel structures mostly in power industry. Nevertheless we have ample experience with projects in other fields such as metallurgy, chemical or entertainment industry.
Company was established in 1998 and since that we have participated in more than one hundred projects located in more than fifty countries all over the world; executed according to European, American or other standards.
We constantly follow the industrial development and use special and more and more sofisticated tools for our work. We know that our client has to be satisfied. Therefore every member of the company pays strict attention to quality, agreed time schedules and flexibility when dealing with customer requirements.
Currently we work in 2 offices - in Ostrava and Brno. Our engineering capacity is approximately 30.000 hours per year. This value could be slightly increased by proved sub-suppliers if needed and agreed by clients.
2020
With refer to European precautions related to COVID-19 spread the way of work has been changed in many aspects. We adjusted our procedures, technology and thinking to reduce the spread of infection and to carry on communication with clients and within the project teams itself. We use now virtual meetings, screen sharing, remote data management among others.
2016
AVS design extended capacity of steel structure modelling (TEKLA) and piping stress analysis (Rohr2). AVS Quality Management System is certified according to ČSN ISO9001: release 2016.
2014
To reduce issues with capacity planing AVS design started execution of strenght calculations by own capacities. We use Rohr2 SW for piping stress analysis and SCIA engineer for steel structures calculation.
2013
Working procedures, documents management and other activities of AVS design are integrated to Quality Management System. This system is certified according to ISO9001:2009 standards.
2012
AVS design offers complex range of services related to basic and detail engineering of piping systems and steel structures. These are related to initial study through static and dynamic analysis up to workshop drawings. Finally - inspection and supervision at plant sites are offered.
2010
To meet client's and market requirements AVS extended 3D modelling capacity by training own engineers in PDMS, TEKLA and Inventor software. ISO9001 standards are run into the practice.
2009
With purpose to provide more complex services to our clients AVS established cooperation with Dystiff Company that executes stress analysis for piping systems, plate and general constructions using FEM. Initial problems with transfer of models between ANSYS, PDMS, Inventor, SCIA, etc. are solved.
2007
AVS design uses TEKLA software for girder constructions. Plate constructions are made in AUTODESK Inventor SW. We have reached planned capacity of 18 employees.
2005
AVS design newly offers basic and detail engineering of steel structures. New nuclear power stations in Sweden are prepared by AVS engineers in PDMS.
2003
AVS design execute first jobs in chemical industry and metalurgy. New office is established in Brno with the aim of stay closer to key clients in Vienna.
1999
AVS design executes detail engineering for incineration plant located in Ostrava. This is the first plant in the Czech Republic carried out by AVS. The quality of AVS works, keeping terms and deadlines assured key client AE&E of continuation the cooperation with AVS.
1998
AVS design s.r.o. is established 30.11.1998. New company took over proyects started in AVS engineering. The team of piping department works on flue gas cleaning ducting systems beside the work on steam and water piping.
1996
The team of piping engineers was formed in previons company - AVS engineering s.r.o.
